We're not special. We're really not.
We're not 2nd rate nor are we an inconvenience to be tolerated.
We're just like you...
Human beings who are deserving of the same basic human rights you're enjoying.
I'm not quite sure why it's so hard for many to see this one fact.
All they see is gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, queer, ________(insert your choice of "label" here)
We don't see you as straight.
We see you as people
And hopefully, you'll realize, that we're just like you.
